Transonic Wind Tunnel/Tri-sonic Wind Tunnel

FD-08 is a continuous sub-transonic wind tunnel. The test section is 0.76m×0.53m with Mach number from 0.3 to 1.15. The flow field is of high uniformity, low turbulence and low noise. The main tests in FD-08 are as following: force measurement and pressure measurement on flight vehicle models, fluttering and buffeting test, dynamic derivative test, interference test between airplane and missiles, hinge moment measurement, air intake model test.

FD-06 is a Tri-sonic wind tunnel which is blow down semi-return type with Mach number from 0.4 to 4.5. The test section is 0.6m×0.6m. The flow field is stable and standard. The central system integrates the measurement, control and processing.
